East Fork Canyon Creek Trailhead

Malheur River Trailhead
Burns Ranger District, 541-513-7282
Directions: From Burns: Follow Highway 395 north to Seneca. At Seneca turn right on FS Road16 and proceed for 17 miles to F Road 1643. Turn right on FS Road 1643 and follow for 6 miles until road forks. Take left fork. The road will lead directly to the trailhead on the west bank of the Malheur River.
Facilities: South end of trail has unloading ramp and hitch rail. Map
Pine Creek Trailhead

Skyline Trailhead
Prairie City Ranger District, 541-820-3311
Directions: Located 21 miles southeast of Prairie City. Take County Road 62, turn right on FS Road 101, go about 3 miles to the trailhead.
Facilities: Large parking area, pit toilet and hitching rack.
Slide Creek Campground

Directions: Located 10 miles southeast of Prairie City. Take County Road 60 to FS Road 6001, go about 0.5 miles to campground.
Facilities: Has campground sites, pit toilet and 6 horse tie-mangers. Further improvements planned in 1997.
Strawberry Campground and Trailhead

Directions: Located 12 miles southeast of Prairie City, take County Road 60 to FS Road 6001, go about 2 miles to trailhead and campground.
Facilities: Large parking area, campground sites, potable water, pit toilets and hitching rack. Map
