1 c butter or margarine (melted)
3 t garlic salt or powder
3 t onion salt or powder
3 t celery salt
4 T Worcestershire sauce
2 c dry roasted peanuts
3 c Corn Chex
3 c Spoon size Shredded wheat
3 c Bugles or other cereal
1. Mix melted butter and spices in large bowl.
2. Add all remaining ingredients and toss until well coated.
Microwave instructions:
Heat on high for 4 minutes. Stir, then heat for 3 more minutes.
Oven instructions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Pour into baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes at a time, stirring occasionally, until crispy and golden.
Pour onto wax paper and cool. Store in airtight container.
Variations:
You can substitute just about any type of nuts, cereal, pretzels, or crackers in this recipe. Broken-up triscuits work very well. You could also cut back quite a bit on the butter/margarine (but it won't taste as good, of course!).
