West End
on the island of
Roatan

West End is a hip little town on the island of Roatan.
There is not lots to do in the town but scuba dive and eat out at a restaurant but it is the best bet on the island for a tourist looking for a reasonably priced easy time. I spent a few days here relaxing and taking in the island vibes

West has one main street and it is made of sand. After a rainstorm you have to dodge the puddles.

This is the one beach in town. A couple of the dive companies run their boats from this beach.

This is all on a nice sandy beach but there are boat docks on all of it.

This is the beach at West Bay.

West Bay is another town down the coastline just a short Water Taxi ride away. It is a bit more spendy here and a lot more resortlike.
