You can never fix it up too much................

Probably not that much to interest the average surfer, but something to show the friends and family.

 ** Current Project **
Winter has set in. But that doesn't mean that you can't still work on the house. I just finished fixing up the bathroom by installing a short (but wide) bathtub and making a tiled in tub surround. It's looking pretty good. Then I put tile in the kitchen/dining room area. Next I need to put new siding on the house. I will have to wait till spring for that one though.

The bathroom tile project:

I put in a bathtub with a tile tub surround. I hope the tax assesor doesn't see this!

The back yard project:

I put in a planter box, tore out some grass and put in a gravel walk, and added a portion of fence.

The back deck project:

I more than doubled the size of the deck and added some character to the layout.

The first Bathroom project:

Notice the new pedestal sink, tile on the floor, new wall color, new antiquey door and added spaciousness. (Pumpkin likes it).

The microwave project:

It came out really nice. It's vents through the roof, gives me more storage space, and gets me to eat more vegetables.

 

 

Past Projects

* Added a "peninsula" in the kitchen to give more counter space and storage.

* Added a new window in the dining room and back bedroom.

* Replaced all the windows in the house with new modern vinyl windows.

* Installed a forced air gas heating system.

* Redid the electrical system and installed a laundry system in the basement.

* Remodeled the bathroom. Installed tile on the floor, sheetrocked the walls, and installed a pedestal sink and built a new vanity cabinet.

* installed a built in microwave and cabinets over the stove.

* Landscaped the back yard a little. Added a walkway and a garden box.

* Removed all the ancient cloth covered wire in the house.

* Installed a sprinkling system for the yard and garden.

* Installed fencing in the front yard on the west side.

* Replaced the old deck with a new larger more stylish deck made of Trex.

* Added a cement sidewalk leading to the front door.
