The mountains are a great place to get out and experience life. You can learn a lot about yourself by getting back in a remote area and putting a little risk into your life. The mountains are my sanctuary if I couldn't get out and feel their presence I would be missing a lot in my life. They have a raw sense of adventure to them. The Oregon cascades are a great place to get out and put yourself to a little challenge. There is nothing too challenging if you put your mind to it and think things through and plan your trip ahead.

I have climbed nearly all the major peaks in Oregon. I am still working on finishing off a few more peaks but I feel fairly satisfied with my accomplishments. I have climbed Theilson, Diamond Peak, South, Middle and North Sisters, Broken Top, Mt. Washington, Three Fingered Jack, Mt Hood and come close on Mt Jefferson.
