Front of house during framing, 2000

We built our home beginning in January, 2000. Work started by spending four months on plans, plans and more plans. The actual ground breaking was in June, 2000 and we finally(!!!) moved into our home in early May, 2001.

Work that we did on the house:

electrical - rough and finish
interior paint
remodeling of several walls prior to siding
central vacuum
some cabinetry and finish trim
hardwood floors
compressed air plumbing - rough and finish
custom milling of relief (highlight) siding on columns
all cleaning and debris disposal

As many of you know, construction was not without it's challenges!!

pregnancy (Chase Nicholas was born in June, 2001, just weeks after we moved in)
carpel tunnel release surgery for Evan on both wrists half-way through (it'd been a problem for years, but went absolutely overboard from pulling electrical wire).

As of December, 2002, we're ALMOST done with it!  Still missing a fireplace mantel, stairway caps, master closet dresser (I know, I know) and coat closet woodwork.
