The Unit crest was designed by SFC Luis Gallardo who was responsible for many of the memorable signs around the hospital. We were delighted he could join us in San Antonio in 2002 ,in Arlington 2004 Las Vegas 2006 and Rock Island 2008. Luis will plan the next reunion 2010 in San Juan Puerto Rico Hola!!

The 36th Evacuation Hospital Vung Tau Vietnam served in Vietnam from 1966 until 1969. This page is dedicated to the Nurses, Physicians, Dentists, Corpsmen, X-ray Techs, Lab Techs, PT's and Techs, supply personnel, admin personnel, cooks, truck drivers, Red Cross Workers and all the people it takes to operate a hospital and the patients who spent time with the hospital.
Hospital Layout The 36th Evacuation Hospital served with valor during WWII in Leyte, New Guinea and Luzon and was deactivated in Tokyo Japan in 1945. The hospital was reactivated at Ft. Meade Maryland in the summer of 1965 and remained there until January 1966.
